Skip the Starlink Satellite Internet Lines
Trying to sign up for satellite internet service from Starlink typically means placing yourself on a long subscriber waiting list. Luckily a new service from Starlink's RV Plan offers a potential fast-track where you can get the essential equipment with positively no wait time.
We are talking about the Starlink RV plan, launched this week by the company as an internet service for RV owners and travelers. Excellent for those of us who like camping, hunting or road trips. The new RV and camper plan includes a portable dish or Dishy that is engineered to provide internet connectivity anywhere you may roam.
Best of all, if you subscribe to Starlink RV, the company will ship a Dishy to you right away, pronto. In comparison, ordering a regular heated Starlink dish right now will put you on a waitlist until 2023.
Before you speed off to get Starlink RV, understand that it's a little bit different than the normal internet service.
Starlink RV is not cheap, costing $135 for the satellite internet service, about $25 more than a regular home Starlink connection. The dish itself will cost a whopping $599.
Looks like a thin, flat, round UFO on a stick. Starlink Terminal has motors to self-adjust optimal angle to view sky. Instructions are simply: - Plug in socket - Point at sky.
These instructions work in either order. No training required.
Still it would be very cool to have!
